Welcome to Tatami Judo!

Sensei Basil Smith has been teaching the art of Judo to children from the ages of 3 and up since 2000.

He currently instructs at 8 different schools including St Davids, Beaulieu Nursery, Beaulieu Preparatory, Bryneven Primary

Bryanston Primary, Steyn City, Bryanston foundation phase, Dainfern and boasts over 300 students.

Judo is a sport ideal for both boys and girls of all ages.

The art enhances the body's core stability and strength.

Footwork and co-ordination are further improved complementing the training necessary for other sporting activities.

In addition to physical fitness, Judo is set to boost overall confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline
